  • ¼ cup of sun-dried tomatoes (optional)
  • ½ tsp. of truffle salt (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. of flour (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Start by slicing the mushrooms and mincing the garlic.
  2. Take the chicken out of the package and generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp. of olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté them until they are halfway cooked.
  5. Introduce the minced garlic into the pan and cook until it becomes soft.
  6. Once the mushrooms are brown and soft, add 1 tbsp. of butter and let it melt. Remove from heat and set aside.
  7. In a saucepan over medium heat, pour in the can of cream of mushroom soup. Simmer it gently, then add the Parmesan cheese and cook until it melts and blends perfectly with the soup.
  8. Stir in the parsley and nutmeg.
  9. Allow the sauce to simmer for 5 minutes, and then add the sautéed mushrooms.
  10. If you prefer a thicker sauce, slowly add 2 tbsp. of flour while stirring.
  11. Optional: Add sun-dried tomatoes and truffle salt for an extra burst of flavor. If you’re not using these ingredients, taste the sauce and add salt to your liking.
  12. Move the sauce to a back burner and keep it on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent the bottom from burning.
  13. In the same pan where you sautéed the mushrooms, heat another tbsp. of olive oil over high heat. Cook the chicken tenderloins for 3 minutes on each side. Once cooked, transfer them to a cutting board to rest.
  14. While the chicken is resting, cook your pasta to perfection. Don’t forget to add salt to the water!
  15. Once the chicken has cooled down, cut it into pieces and add it to the sauce, stirring well to incorporate.
  16. Finally, combine the pasta and sauce, sprinkle some parsley and extra Parmesan cheese on top, and serve. If some prefer a saucier experience, plate the pasta first and pour the sauce on top. Enjoy!
